I am voluntarily entering into this waiver as part of my request for my child to participate in the Orange County Mock Trial Program competition sponsored by Constitutional Rights Foundation. I agree that my child is permitted to participate in the Orange County Mock Trial Program. I further certify that both my child and I understand and agree to follow all rules specified in the California Mock Trial Program Team Rulebook, Courtroom Art or Journalism Contest rules, and any other rules, guidelines, or regulations deemed appropriate by CRF-OC and/or the Orange County Superior Court. I understand that my child is voluntarily participating in these activities with knowledge that, as with any activity conducted in a public place with many attendees, some danger may be involved. I understand that these photographs and video/audio recordings will not be used for profit or commercial endeavors, but rather to encourage future participation in CRF-OC sponsored events. I understand that photographs and video/audio recordings of my child and information pertaining to their identity may appear in various media outlets including, but not limited to CRF-OC flyers, newspaper articles, magazine publications, computer communications (e.g. electronic mail, internet promotions, and CRF-OC’s social media channels), and television.
